The focus is on hands-on learning and understanding different methods, such as espresso, filter coffee, latte art, and sensory analysis. Under the guidance of top trainers, you will deepen your knowledge and enjoy the world of specialty coffee.
Stow Academy, led by licensed AST trainer Peter Šević, introduced the international Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) – Coffee Diploma System in Slovenia in 2016. This program offers the opportunity to obtain internationally recognized certifications and advanced knowledge for professional development in the coffee industry. Currently, we offer modules in Barista Skills, Brewing, and Introduction to Coffee, and in 2025, we will add Sensory Skills. After successfully completing the theoretical and practical parts, as well as a written exam in English, candidates receive certificates at the Foundation, Intermediate, or Professional levels.
Stow Academy offers tailored individual training for coffee enthusiasts and professionals who want to elevate their knowledge to the next level. Special attention is given to training for baristas preparing for competitions, where, with years of experience at the European level, we provide a comprehensive approach—from selecting coffee and preparing a strategy to intensive training.
Stow Academy offers comprehensive courses for hospitality professionals, including consulting for opening a café, staff training for top-quality coffee preparation, and professional service. Special emphasis is placed on guest psychology to enhance the experience and strategies for boosting sales. The programs are tailored to the specific needs of individual establishments, with a clear goal—achieving top quality and success in the hospitality industry.
